Remark
This is my first attempt to summarize Indie Hacker news from various sources after being away for a few days and catching up myself. Made a few discoveries on scraping some of the content as well as the topic in general. For one, not everything that points to the page and returns a list of topics (articles) will behave the same in scraping mode. Not a magic discovery, obviously, but a few surprises from well-known sources.
The other: unless this is content that is viral or from a reputable source that covers interesting topics, the majority of content is actually quite stale. I’ve realized how lonely builders are in this space; yes, you want to aim to share interesting content, but there is so much noise from “building in public” strategies and tricks to get engagement that truly interesting content is easily missed.
If you are not getting enough love on the value you share, don’t give up; someone will eventually find it useful despite the noise.
