Saving incredible amount of hours on extracting, reading, summarizing, and preparing similar content, Summary Owl is configurable via UI and takes care of everything needed from the moment you enter the resouces you would like to process.
Tech Stack
I am building this tool in public, not my first attempt to build this way (and not my last) and being a side project I’ve chosen to go with the tech that isn’t too familar to me yet, to keep this fun and learn something new as I go along.
Some of the tools used to develop the product:
- NextJS (UI and API)
- Astro (this website + generated articles)
- PostgreSQL my favourite database
- OpenAI + Claud for content summarization
- Morning coffee ☕
Current Progress
The tool is still in testing and allows me to refine input and outputs, add additional sources for content scraping, and test the system before pushing out the beta version.
This website also allows me to vent my thoughst on the product which might later become a blog. This site was built with Astro, a nice an interesting framework discovered quite recently.
The theme used may be found in this repo and I would like to thank Sat Naing for provding it to Astro community.
